Jennifer N. Seich
Jennifer Seich joined the Workers' Compensation department of Keches Law Group in August of 2009. Ms. Seich also handles plaintiffs’ employment law cases. Her work includes representing victims of employment discrimination based on race, gender, disability, religion, national origin, or veteran status; unemployment hearings; actions for non-payment of wages or overtime; sexual harassment cases; and fighting for workers who seek workplace accommodations based on disabilities.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Seich served as a law clerk to a civil litigation attorney in Boston. She also worked for the Health and Disability Unit of Greater Boston Legal Services and interned with the Massachusetts Appeals Court and Boston Juvenile Court.
Ms. Seich was born in Boston, Massachusetts and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware. She obtained her law degree With Distinction in May 2009 with a Concentration in Health and Biomedical Law from Suffolk University Law School. While in law school, Ms. Seich wrote for the Journal of Health and Biomedical Law and served as the President of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International. Ms. Seich also received the Northeast Region Law Student Ethics Award for her work in the Juvenile Defenders Clinical Program. As a research assistant, Ms. Seich was published in the Hamline Journal of Public Law and Policy, in an article entitled Massachusetts Health Insurance Reform: An Effective Tool for Addressing Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Health Care? She has also been acknowledged for her research and editing efforts in the 2008 edition of the Massachusetts Practice SeriesMediation and Arbitration ,
as well as for her contribution to the 2009-2009 edition of the Massachusetts Guide to Evidence.
Attorney Seich is admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association (including the Young Lawyers Division of the Massachusetts Bar Association), the Norfolk County Bar Association, and the Women's Bar Association.
